THE GAZETTE
The Society publishes a quarterly Gazette and at times special information supplements. These are included in the price of the membership fee. The Gazette contains details of forthcoming shows and events, the results of the shows along with the Judges reports.

Members can write in and inform each other of new ideas or developments and ask or answer each others questions.

There are informative articles on Chinchilla keeping, breeding, health and showing from various points of view.

Also included are handy tips, helpful hints and a regular news and chit-chat column, plus lots of other items that go towards producing an unsurpassed wealth of knowledge  about the Chinchilla.

THE GUIDE TO QUALITY CHINCHILLAS
The N.C.S. has published a booklet called THE GUIDE TO QUALITY CHINCHILLAS. It is issued free to all members upon joining the N.C.S. (Copies are also available to non-members priced at £3.50). This booklet will give you a good starting point to breeding quality Chinchillas, it has good, clear photographs and diagrams along with in-depth information about all aspects of quality in Chinchillas.
